Please bring your gently used books appropriate for our EVCS students (please no baby books or adult books) to donate to the book sale.
If you won’t be able to stay with your children, consider send few dollars with them.
ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE PARENTS ASSOCIATION.
Books are $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardcovers. Come and get ’em!
There’ll be also Roost coffee for $2 a cap.
The book sale will help kick off this year’s READING OLYMPICS!
Look in your children’s backpacks March 1 for READING OLYMPICS materials. For new parents, the READING OLYMPICS is a month long read-a-thon. It is an opportunity for the students to help earn money for the PA to support things like music and arts enrichment in our school. Students ask for donations from sponsors for all the books they read (either independently or with a family member. And yes, looking through picture books counts!) during the month of March. Details will be on the READING OLYMPICS SPONSOR SHEET.
FYI – Read Across America Day is on Wednesday, March 2!!!
Happy Reading,
Allison and Hagit
(on behalf of the PA)
