The costume exchange is tomorrow!

If you were thinking about bringing in something in or to check out the swap, tomorrow is the day! Go through your costume pile tonight and bring in any lightly used items to the yard in the morning. If you left items off earlier- they will be added to the table.

Dear Families,

Upcycling at its best!
The costume exchange was such a huge success last year,
and a ton of fun for all… we want to hold another exchange in the yard!

Go through your costume bags and bring in any lightly used costumes to the yard. There will be a table set to put them on and a rack to hang items on. If you can not get to it this week, we will do it again next week. Bring items you no longer use to the table and swap for something else!

We plan to break out into small team meetings…
Join us if you can and jump into a committee, or reach out via email and we will find a way for you to be involved.

Can’t make the meetings?
No worries, there will be an online sign-up sheet going out soon. You can donate stuff, make food, or volunteer some time on the day of the event!

For students currently enrolled in the EVCS After School Program: A “Bridge” Program will be offered by afterschool@evcsnyc.org.
Details will be shared very soon – directly to those families who may participate. For all other families, please be sure to make arrangements for your child to be picked up. Bussing will be running and anyone who normally takes the bus will be bussed home.

If you attend an after school program outside of EVCS – please contact your provider directly about the half day, and be sure to make arrangements for a timely pick up on Thursday, November 5.

The Ball Bounced, Rolled and Sailed the Sea!

Dear EVCS Families,

Yeowza – It was a Screaming, Bouncing Ball!
YES! We had another amazing Fall Ball thanks to all of you!

Thank you to everyone who attended and created a fabulous Fall Ball 2014. It was a magical day filled with costumed friends reveling and sharing in school spirit.

So many people helped organize this year’s event, naming each of them would amount to reciting the school enrollment list! But some people went above and beyond the call, and we want to give them a big public shout out of gratitude:
