EVCS Harvest Festival

Dear Families

The Harvest Festival is a tradition at East Village Community School. For those of you who are new to the school, the Harvest Festival is a beloved event by kids, staff and families. Not only do the students learn all about giving to people less fortunate, conceptually, but they do so in a celebratory gathering in the yard complete with community, songs and a school-wide walk to Trinity Lutheran Church, located o Avenue B and 10th Street, to actually deliver the cans to the shelter. It is a beautiful morning. Families are welcome to participate in the festivities and walk with the students to the church.

We ask that anyone owning a cart, please bring it to the yard in the morning on Tuesday, November 24th to help us transport the cans!

We sent home a flyer in backpacks!
