Dear Parents and Guardians,

The EVCS Annual Harvest Festival is next Wednesday morning!
Please remember to continue bringing food contributions to the school. It is easier for kids to carry a couple of cans at a time and the students get more out of it by physically bringing the items themselves by putting them in the collection bins near their classroom and counting them as they add up!

We will collect items through November 26.

Tuesday: We still need strong lifting volunteers on Tuesday at 2:50 p.m.
Please help bring items to the main lobby in preparation for Wednesday morning.
Go to your child’s classroom first and then go room to room and bring all items to the lobby. An area in the lobby has been designated the staging area and signs will be up! Thank you in advance for your contributions, and help to organize!
We begin the day like a school-wide morning meeting day.
See more details below about the assembly.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The temperatures have seriously shifted up and down, so round up your warm gear and layer up daily. The EVCS policy is to be outside unless it is precipitating – so only if it is raining or snowing, expect to play! Make sure your child has appropriate cold-weather clothing labeled with your child’s first and last name!!

The FOOD Drive for Harvest Festival is On!

Please bring what you CAN! It is easier to carry a couple of cans at a time and the students get more out of it by physically bringing some of the items themselves and putting them in the collection bins near their classroom.

We will continue to collect items through November 26.
Thank you in advance for your contributions and support!
Items can be taken directly to the class bins – students are keeping track of how many items are being collected!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Fall ball was epic! We had great attendance, the Haunted House was spook-tacular, and the food, games, and crafts were a blast. A huge thanks to our Event Team, the EVCS Parent Association volunteers, & everyone who came out to lend a hand at the event. The PA has some amazing links to share – keep an eye out for their email coming soon.

The EVCS Harvest Festival is officially kicking off today!

This month-long event is an opportunity to teach our children about food equity. It gives our students the chance to take action and learn that sometimes in life we are in a position to share, and when we are, it is important to do so. We will sort food by protein, fruit&veggie, soup, and grains. Each classroom will have labeled bins ready to accept these items! Start bringing donations to your classrooms this Monday! NO GLASS PLEASE. It is easier to bring a little something each day to allow the kids to help bring items to the school. Students are counting! The event will culminate on Wednesday, November 27 including a musical presentation in the auditorium and a school-wide walk over to the Trinity Chuch on 9th Street led by our very own EVCS drumline! Be sure to put this on your calendar!
