EVCS Weekly: Friday, February 11

Dear EVCS Parents and Guardians,

It was a super energized week at EVCS – the sunshine lifted everyone’s spirit!
Our PreK & K classes had an exciting time with author and illustrator Mike Curato! A big shout out to the Author Visit Committee (Abigail, Nicole, Stephanie, Melanie, Alexis, and Natasha) and our PA for making this happen!

Our 5th grade classes are hosting a bake sale Monday before arrival and during dismissal, please come out to support them and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa, coffee or tea on the sidewalk!

Rapid Test Kits to use prior to return following break 2/28

Next Thursday, February 17, all students will receive at-home rapid testing kits for use during the mid-winter break.  Unless your child has recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, we ask that all students use a testing kit prior to returning to our school building on Monday, February 28.  You do not need to share a negative test result to return to school, but we please ask for the health and safety of all in our building that you use the testing kits prior to taking Monday’s health screener.  If they test positive, please email [email protected] and your child’s teacher(s). And if your child will not be in school next Thursday and Friday, please let your child’s teacher know so that we can send home the testing kits early.
