Fall Ball – Thank You All

halloween

Hello Amazing EVCS Families,

We did it! We pulled off yet another blow-out of a Fall Ball! No small feat and wholly due to a great amount of time and effort donated by a great number of parents!

Thank you to Each and Every One of You who helped-out, kicked-in, baked, shlepped, scared, cleaned, manned a table and shopped. It could not have happened without you and the kids had an absolute blast! So many of us participated in so many many ways, three cheers to all of us!

There are a few folks who stepped up above and beyond and deserve a special mention for their time, toil and sweat.

Firstly, a great big thank-you to Hagit for overseeing and managing the whole shebang and also James Bromberg for handling the on-sight management from set-up through clean-up. Those are giant commitments and we are all ever grateful that these two took them on.

Erik and Michael, again this year, headed up the killer haunted House team. Thank-you to all who helped make the 2nd floor a whole different and scary world especially Ethan, Tristan, and Cresta, your skills are truly terrifying. Thank you to the Fun-House team, Catharine, Noel, and Brad, and all of you who helped pull, tape and put it together. This year’s Haunted-House-Lite was a huge hit!

Thank you to Nina Ablan and Nikko for organizing, running and bringing the prizes for both the Pumpkin Carving contest and the first ever Costume Contest. And to the judges, thank you, clearly no easy task since the costumes, creativity and talent at EVCS are downright next level. (*Winners’ list at the bottom)

We would like to express a huge Thank-You and welcome to new parent and photographer Jai who brought the spectacular Photo-booth and took all the beautiful images. Check out and download Photo booth pictures here:

In all sincerity, we look gooood. And Speaking of looking good, great big thanks to Patrick for over-seeing the decorations through-out the space.

Thank you to Ebony and Tony for heading up the Dessert Table and to all you wonderful bakers who brought in all the beautiful sweet goodies. Thank you to Noel for popping the corn and managing the Canteen. Julie Lansky, and Lara Levine did double duty managing both the Craft tables and helping Sharon Blumenkranz organize Lunch. Thank you three for all the hard work and planning. Speaking of lunch, thank you to local restaurants Char SueS’mac and Baker’s Pizza for providing much of that delicious spread and James for the kale salad.

Sharon Saltz got us the Dj equipment and the live DJ- straight from Rock and Soul’s kid’s DJ class, Thank you Sharon and The Rock and Soul Store! Big thanks to Ron Bromberg for the many many car trips and for organizing the fun Carnival Games. Thank you to all you crafty and carny parents, too! Thank you to Choresh, Anne and Hagit for running the all-important ticket table. And to Bradley, and school staff for allowing us parents this wonderful place to be creative and celebrate together! Truly, Heidi Klum’s party has nothing on our’s.

While the Fall Ball is more about the fun than the funds, we still managed to bring in almost $4700 so after expenses, that is $1650 for our General PA Fund! That money goes a long way towards getting us closer to our annual budget goals, which helps keep our kids going on great field trips, having the amazing partnerships and doing cool classroom projects. If you haven’t had a chance to make a direct contribution to the PA this year, now is a fine time! Big and Small, all amounts are greatly appreciated. donate here
