Right now the EVCS Parent Association is in the middle of our biggest fundraiser of the year. It’s not an event. You won’t need a babysitter and you don’t have to put on a costume (that is coming soon). But you do need to take action. Right now.
Between now and the end of the year, the Parent Association needs to raise more than half our budget to help make EVCS the special place that it is via direct family contributions. This year we are asking each family to give $500.
We understand that for some families this really is a lot – please only donate what you can. We also know that some families can give more, and we welcome that. If you are one of those families, please consider sponsoring an additional family, or giving whatever you can to help us meet our goals. We are truly a diverse community and if we work together we can raise all that we need to support the amazing extra programs that our kids enjoy each year. Donations can be split up into manageable monthly payments throughout the school year and all donations are tax deductible.
And one last thing – we are aiming for 100% family participation. Last year fewer than one third of our families made a contribution at any level. We know we can do better and we mean it when we say no amount is too small. Many people donating $10 or $25 adds up quickly. And, please know that all donations are anonymous and are only seen by the EVCS PA Treasurers.
