Chess In the Schools Schedule


FREE Summer STEM Program
through the Department Of Education

STEM Summer in the City is a free, five week for current 2nd – 10th graders that is engaging and a fun summer program designed around STEM – science, technology, engineering and math.

In addition to weekly STEM challenges, involving coding & game design, developing engineering solutions and inventing with robotics, the program also includes enrichment opportunities in the Arts, Physical Education and includes trips to NYC cultural institutions.

Students are accepted into this program via a lottery
Program runs from July 5, 2018 to August 09, 2018
Monday through Thursdays from 8:30AM – 2: 30PM
Breakfast and lunch are included
Free transportation is provided, depending on students’ grade level and the distance between their residence and school.



MMCC EVCS After School

Thursday, June 14 – Tuesday, June 26
Important Information:
The Regular Semester of EVCS After School Classes will end Thursday, June 14. After School Childcare (June 18-22) will be available for an additional fee. Please be sure to request this service if needed.

After School Care will be NOT be provided at EVCS on the last 2 days of the school year, Monday, June 25 or Tuesday, June 26.

The PA needs our HELP NOW! They only have a handful of auction items for the fundraiser! Last year we had over 100 items! If every EVCS family could bring one donated item or service we would be done!

Marshall Chess club is open to chess enthusiasts for a visit at 23 West 10th Street http://www.marshallchessclub.org/, boards and pieces are available at the club.
