Dear Parents and Guardians,

The school picnic committee has been meeting to prepare for the annual school-wide picnic this Friday, June 9th!

The picnic is an all-school field day of organized activities,
lunch, and sprinklers at East River Park!

All kids will come to school like any other day, starting the day in their classrooms. The classes will walk to the park starting at 9:00 am.

REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR NEW EVCS SHIRT
Students will receive a new picnic t-shirt this Wednesday! A gift from the PA!
We thank you for supporting our kids and helping to make this a great day for all of them. Please feel free to wash the shirt and be sure they wear it on Friday for the big game, school-wide capture the flag!

PARENTS and GUARDIANS
Parents, you are welcome to join us anytime during the picnic! If you plan to pick up your child from the picnic, please remember to SIGN THEM OUT with their teacher! Otherwise, it will be a regular dismissal in the yard at 2:50 p.m.

DONATED SNACKS
All donated snacks need to arrive before 11 a.m. to the EAST RIVER PARK BBQ area! If you cannot bring items to the park, please bring items to the school yard by 8:30 a.m. during morning arrival. We will have a collection table set up in the shade,

LUNCH:
School lunches have been ordered for those who requested lunch online last week. If you did not do so, please pack your child a bagged lunch!

PLEASE label everything with your child’s name!

Please include a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat on picnic day!
We’ll be outside in the sunshine all day long.
