Dear Parents and Guardians,
It’s hard to believe November is here!
This unusually warm weather continues to promote outdoor play and the kids are loving it! But when winter weather arrives we will all want to be prepared – EVCS students go outside when it’s cold! Make sure to locate the warmer items so you are ready and please be sure to put your child’s name on every jacket, hat, and glove they wear!
A few reminders about upcoming events and activities in November:
Monday, November 7
At EVCS, we see great value in bringing together students of different ages for learning activities. It helps children understand the school community beyond the walls of their classroom and form new bonds and friendships with adults and children from other areas of the school. One way we do this is through our Clubs program. Starting next week, on the next seven Monday afternoons, our entire school will reorganize itself into different, activity-based clubs for one hour. The clubs are led by teachers and span a wide range of interests from outdoor sports to chess, from drawing to animal studies. Ask you child what club s/he is signed up for!
