Summer is fast approaching and there are still spaces left for New York International Children’s Film Festival Filmmaking Camps. Kids will learn all aspects of filmmaking – storyboarding, set creation, camerawork, lighting, sound design, and more – to create their own short film.

Classes explore different mediums from claymation to paper cut out to hand-drawn animation. Oldest students (entering grades 6-9), can join a Masterclass, which will work in the style of renown filmmaker Wes Anderson.

Camps take during week long sessions
from July 5-9, July 18-22, and July 25-29.
