Dear Families

We have had a busy and fun week here at EVCS! Hopefully everyone is getting familiar with their teachers, finding their way around the halls and working out any kinks.

A few reminders about Next Week:

Monday, September 21
Our first School Wide Morning Meeting (SWMM) 2015
9:00 – 9:30 am
We begin at 9:00 am in the Auditorium.
If this is your first time at EVCS, the SWMM is a special time when the entire staff and student body get together, we sing, and listen to the morning message from Bradley. It sets a tone and helps center everyone for the week! While parents and family are welcome, there is no pressure to attend and there will be many opportunities to join us. Parents are welcome to sit with their child any SWMM. The students go up with teachers first at 8:30 to drop off all personal belongings and then return to the auditorium at 9:00 am. The SWMM dates are on the evcs calendar at evcsnyc.org for your planning convenience!
