Every year, all parents and teachers in the NYC Department of Education are asked to take the NYC School Survey. The survey ranks among the largest surveys of any kind ever conducted nationally.

The survey helps school leaders understand what key members of the school community say about the learning environment at each school. The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.

You will receive one survey for your family in a bright green envelope at your child’s Parent-Teacher Conference. You have the option of filling it out on paper and mailing it in or going online and using the unique eight digit survey access code that appears on the bottom right-hand corner of the survey form inside your envelope.

This year, we will have computers ready for you in the EVCS Office Please stop by during the official Parent-Teacher Conference hours:
Wednesday, March 18th, from 5:00pm-8:00pm Room 405, 4th Floor
Thursday, March 19th, from 12:20-2:50pm Room 405, 4th Floor

While we encourage you to complete the survey in whatever way is most convenient for you, if you complete it in the EVCS Office during those times, you will receive a Raffle Ticket – giving you a chance to win:
A Parents’ Day Out – your child will spend a day at citibabes in soho,
with a sibling or a friend! A $350 Value!
