HARVEST FESTIVAL: As you’ve surely heard, the forecast is for serious rain tomorrow, the day of our annual Harvest Festival. Your children have brought in an abundance of cans and other foods, but more is always welcome, and you can bring things in tomorrow morning for delivery to the soup kitchen following our celebration.
CALLING ALL MUSICIANS
This year the Festival of Lights will be back in our own Auditorium on Wednesday, Dec 18. The kids have already started working on their performances and for the last three years the parents have provided accompaniment for some of the classes as well as cheerful, incidental holiday music as the classes get on and off the stage. We’ve also had a sing-along of a couple of popular holiday tunes for the whole community.
If you have an instrument and would like to play you are more than welcome. I will schedule a couple of different rehearsals to try to accommodate everyone’s busy December – So please email me at email@example.com if you have any ideas, requests or hidden talents!
Look forward to hearing from you,

I hope you all heard from your children about the incredible assembly we had last Thursday in the auditorium with Brent Daniels, a musical wizard who introduced EVCS to the magic of digital sound production using the vocals, stomps and claps of our students. I’m not sure I have ever seen so many of our kids dancing at once—or experienced so much unbridled enthusiasm. We’re quite confident that a lot of your kids have a future in the music business. Click here to listen to the song Brent created with our students and here to check out his music technology program for schools.
