EVCS Weekly Dec 11 – 15

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We have had a week full of shares, presentations, class trips and PA events!
Congratulations to the Holiday Makers Fair organizers and Parent Association. We had a wonderful turnout! If you missed this one, you’re in luck. There will be another opportunity at the Festival of Lights, Wednesday, December 20!

The Advisory Committee for our after school program is putting out a final call for your input. If you have not done so already, please take this opportunity to let your voices be heard by completing this survey to aid the committee in identifying the level of satisfaction families have. We are looking for input from families who participate in the program and from those who don’t.
All responses are anonymous.

Let’s find out more below:

Reminder: School begins at 8:30 a.m.
We share the cafeteria during breakfast with 2 other schools and often other students are still eating breakfast at 8:30. If your child arrives in time for breakfast, but they are not finished by the time school starts, they need to take their food and go up to class by 8:30. Please be aware that EVCS students go to up starting at 8:25 a.m. EVCS students should not be in the cafeteria after 8:30 unless they’re with their parents.

Important Dismissal Reminders
Remember that school ends at 2:50. We ask everyone to be on time to meet their children and to pick up directly from your child’s classroom. All children must be signed out by their classroom teacher. This is for everyone’s safety, so thank you for your support in this effort.

While we understand that things come up and changes may happen from time to time, please do your best to give us 24 hour notice of any change to a regular schedule. Please be sure your teacher(s) are aware of any change.
