EVCS Weekly Nov 13 -17

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Good news, the phones are working again!

We are officially kicking off Harvest Festival Month: Start Bringing
Non-Perishable Food Items to EVCS!
There will be boxes outside of each classroom to put your donations in. This is one of our favorite events of the year. This community wide event centers around teaching our children about food equity. It gives our kids the chance to take action. Keep an eye out for this flyer in your backpacks.

What else is coming up?

A Note About Parent Teacher Conferences

If you have not signed yet, please contact your teacher(s) directly. Conferences last 15-20 minutes, so there is no childcare. If your child would like to sit outside the classroom during your conference, there will be tables and chairs in the hallway.

Progress Reports will be distributed at the conference as the basis for a conversation and to set a collaborative goal between parents and teachers.

While we understand that things come up and changes may happen from time to time, please do your best to give us 24 hour notice of any change to a regular schedule. Please be sure your teacher(s) are aware of any change.

Lost & Found – Come Find it!
Please stop by or have your child go look for what they came to school with, but didn’t come back home with! Anything that goes unclaimed, will be donated to the needy next week. 11/15
Lost & Found is located in the main lobby.

As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Have a nice weekend!

All best wishes,
